In order to make the experiance with the Hostingservices even better, we have upgraded the Connection to the main server now to a 2Mbit/352kbps ADSL connection! Please have a look at the Hosting Plans to find out which plan fits best for your needs! Note: you can allways add more options & extras! In order to improve the security and efficiancy of the mail services we have upgraded the mailserver to the latest version 6.71 of MDaemon now and set the CHECK POP before SMTP for all users! We also changed the Virusscanner on the Server and updated the Scanner System inside MDaemon, so, it will pick out suspect emails directly before delivering to the mailbox, but still you might get a lot of Spam which is sent by servers that are not recognized by the spamguard. If you experiance any difficulties when sending emails, please contact us immediately! New with the hosting is the possibility to PARK a domain, that is active but not currently needed, just ask at webhosting@ssishosting.net!! The domain configuration is beeing checked automatically every day, but still if you intend doing changes, please inform us as soon as possible. It is also very useful to log into the webadmin at least once a week! We have put in place a webadmin-login-log system where we can allways see, who actually loged into the webadmin, or who tried to get in with wrong login information.

News posted at: (29.03.2002 00:06:59) Hello Everybody, Yes, as you can see, this site has been updated a bit with the most visible part that the dream end of best allround free webhosting services should finally find the apropriate values. I have been amazed by all the requests of the members who tell me, that it's even better than many other services, knowing that it is a clear choice for support and personal discussion service rather than profit oriented - money cow world - handling. But just in case you didn't know. The Simple System Internet Services a part of The Complex Technology Inc. is actually managed and sponsored by Curdin Gees from Switzerland. And I can say, that without the webadmin, ( which all members should try visiting at least once a month.. ) makes it actually possible to handle the diffrent service parts like createing a domain on the IIS or opening a new FTP account or getting ready for the email needs of a new domain..allways knowing which user requested what..and which parts are set or not. I hope everybody understands that this is a big effort..and not only hours pass, but also a lot of money, that I pay from my own pocket. I hate doing economical stuff, but I need to. The result is, that a valuable service gets its price that has to be payed by each member. The fixed expenses I have for keeping the SDSL line is much higher than you might think..it's around $400 per month!! The paid Hosting services are running since 01.04.2002. I would like to ask all members who haven't contacted me concerning their profiles to do that as soon as possible!! Everybody should be aware of what is used and what isn't and if changes are needed!! Yes I know the internet used to be all free..but now even newspapers start charging..coz the market motivation changes too fast..and I really think the prices I give you, are very cheap. Of course you can allways find someone else with lower prices.. but the conditions they set and the way they handle members is completely diffrent! News posted at: (31.12.2001 23:48:00) Hello Everybody, I would like to thank all the members at the Simple System Internet Services who have been pleased of enjoying the Hosting of their Domains and sites. It has been a long year, that required big work to get all those functions in the webadmin implemented, so that it can coordinate well with the servers. I have learned a lot in ASP programming and working with databases and the number of members has exceeded my goal a lot!! With 50 fully qualified domains and 15 subdomains 30 websites on curdin.tzo.com and around 10 websites on member domains it is quite busy.. 100 members were not successful or left or never moved in.. 100 members though, make out all those pages who are actually working! One Important thing, I'm wishing for the Year 2002 is, that members TALK to me.. about their problems with domains / websites.. and also tell me, when the service is nice!! coz it's not a usual thing.. as I'm doing all in my spare time.. mostly alone with a bit of programming help by Peter ( Thanks a lot Peter I love working with you !! ) You might have been asking yourself.. who is and how is this service setup? Well it's a DUAL Pentium II - 450 MHz with 18+60GB HDD and connected via SDSL 128kbps 24/7 with transparent routing.. Also to say.. without mydomain.com I would not be able to provide all this nice free service! Enjoy your time.. see ya all soon!

Maybe you have noticed that may server has many Zelda and Anime related sites hosted. I am kind of tierd of them.. and as such I will not accept any more of this type - Sorry !! I am looking for Personal or natural science pages that are not related to gameing..!! There is one exception, if you think you can make a good page about Virtual Airlines / MS Flightsim( Civilaviation) and / or ATC controlling I'll be glad to host it :-) About Subdomains, anybody working with Subdomains has to be a registered member and I will evaluate the page/site and their needs before setting up new subdomains. For Domainowners, yes you are the owner and you can have hosted other users but it is still MY Server and as such it's me accepting them or not!! Have a good time and please tell me what you think of my hosting!
News posted at: (23.11.2001 23:43:08) Hello everybody, You might have been reading about the HDD crash and interrupt of hosting past days.. well transfer of backup files from austrian server is still going on.. around 80% of the files is up I still need to get my scripts on the webadmin working again.. and waiting for the transfer to be finished.. Please NOTE it's a big stress for all to get it working.. I also had to reinstall all Programs.. and as such diffrent parts might not be working or up yet.. eg to prevent future fileloss and also coz some scripts don't work yet the FTP server for the member accounts is still closed, please be patiant with me.. !! I was able to setup the email server again today.. and we transfered the emails from austria.. so you can grab them now in your pop3 account.. PLS keep the bandwith usage as low as possible the next couple of days.. so transfer of backup files can keep on working.. I'll open the domains one another.. NOTE I am not doing ANY changes of memberaccounts / domains for the next two weeks at least, that's around December 10th, coz I want to get my system working before opening.. and I want to include a better backup system.. as I don't want to loose data again.. !! BUT you can be sure to find even better service in future :-) Your Webhosting Team

They are working.. and the problems in Austria have been resolved.. so FTP server should be working for all accounts as usual.. At the moment.. as we can't stay at one point.. I have made some experiments with PHP and the mySQL server. It basically works however details need to be checked out deeper.. pls note, that I do not have much experiance with php, so I can't help you with any codeing. if you have an email address on my server and don't really need it, pls tell me, so I can save some resources, thanx. About Subdomains, anybody working with Subdomains has to be a registered member and I will evaluate the page/site and their needs before setting up new subdomains. To get a better performance I have upgraded to 768MB SDRAM ! Yes it works great. For those of you who have been moved to the Server in Austria may have noticed some problems.. we are working hard to get everything back soon. FTP is currently closed. It seems like my hosting is popular.. even without advertiseing for it, that's nice.. Too bad, I am getting closer to the limits of domains and sites to be hosted by me.. that's one reason why ==>> Sign-up form is now closed during SEPTEMBER <<== Another reason is.. that I will have difficult exams in October and I need good preparation for it.. so I don't have time managing more sites. BTW I have around 1GB of traffic per DAY.. yes per DAY not month.. LOL !! The limit of 6 Subdomains is still there, websites of other users up to 10 per domain. Now when ever a file is not found, meaning 404 error.. a page will be loaded and details will be collected.. then you can login into your webadmin and click on the link 404-list and scroll to your domain then try to fix those problems as soon as possible, thanx
News posted at: (05.08.2001 13:10:21) Hello everybody, Yes I have solved the problem with the virus :-) Another thing is it looks like subdomain hosting is a very interresting point for a domain owner.. yes I can understand that.. but don't forget setting up a subdomain does take pritty much the same work than opening a new fully qualified domain! And due to overwhelming request for subdomains I have to set a limit, which is now at 6, so the Max of subdomains to be hosted by one domain is 6! Eg true-stars.com has reached that! Yours Curdin

I can just say I have cleaned up a bit the users and domainrecords and I found out, that one category of sites is trying to move to my hosting coz it's free.. and that is the TFC Clan - pages! BUT I don't like the shooting games at all and so, I'm not happy to have such sites on my server. Sorry, but I will not accept any new TFC or other similar Game sites!!

About users reporting problems with FTP server, I have now definitely switched to the BrokerFTP which means no ftp on port 21! Users who didn't change the webadmin password got an email from me, with new login / pass, pls keep this confidential. It is striktly forbidden to give the information to an other user! Please TEST your new pass and report any problems!

As the request for that increased a lot, I worked more with Peter to get that up and running.. However the process is a bit longer! Notice that the owner of the domain as well as the webhosting team needs to accept the requests sent through the forms for profile type V, VI and VII.
